Happy Birthday Pie!

Today, March 8th, is Pie’s birthday! She turns “officially” 3 years old today. It surely doesnt feel like she is only 3, it feels like we’ve been together for a lifetime!

I tried to reflect abit today on how Pie has changed from her second to third birthday..it seems like she has accomplished ALOT in that short year. She learned to stand on her pedestal, bow, say “yes”, shake hooves, play soccer. She was also gentled to ride, attended her first school presentation and represented her breed at her first expo!

Looking into her three year old year, I hope to accomplish just as much. She will be again representing her breed at our expo, she has plans to attend some school/daycare groups, and I hope to start taking her out to some of our local horse shows. As Ive talked about before, I plan to start her on cattle this year too. My husband giggles thinking about me working cattle on a 13.2 hand pony..I just smile..Ive delt with the naysayers before and Pie has proven them wrong.

Pie had a good birthday..gorgeous early spring Texas weather, hanging out with her friends outside (and Im sure annoying the heck of them, who are much older!)

A virtual toast to many many more birthdays Pie! You are TRULY one in a million and I feel extremly blessed to be able to share my life with you!

I am so happy for Pie! What a special addition to your family she has been!
I always enjoy hearing your “Pie” moments. It is amazing that the same techniques which work on dogs work with Pie!
